- 6 pickles (cut into 12 quarters)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1½ cups Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons Montreal Steak seasoning or regular steak seasoning
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Prepare Coating Stations: In three medium bowls, place the flour in the first bowl, whisk the eggs along with milk in the second bowl, and combine the Panko breadcrumbs with steak seasoning in the third bowl.
- Coat Pickles: Dip each pickle quarter first in the flour, then the egg mixture, and finally in the seasoned Panko breadcrumbs. Place coated pickles on a plate as you go.
- Preheat Air Fryer and Prepare Basket: Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the coated pickles in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they are not touching for even cooking. Spray the tops of the pickles with cooking spray as well.
- Cook Pickles: Air fry the pickles at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 6 minutes, or until golden and crispy. If cooking in batches, repeat the process with remaining pickles.
- Serve: Serve the crispy fried pickles hot with your favorite dipping sauce for a delicious snack.
