Milk Mixture

  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened pumpkin puree
  • 1½ tablespoons granulated white sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Coffee and Topping

  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • ¼ cup vanilla creamer
  • Whipped cream for the top
  • Pumpkin pie spice for the top

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a glass mixing cup, add milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice. Use a whisk or small frother to combine the ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Heat Mixture: Place the mixture in the microwave and heat for 1 minute until warm. Remove from microwave and pour into your serving glass.
  3. Prepare Coffee: Brew 1 cup of your preferred coffee and pour it into the glass with the warmed pumpkin milk mixture.
  4. Add Creamer and Garnish: Stir in ¼ cup vanilla creamer. Top the latte with whipped cream and sprinkle with additional pumpkin pie spice for garnish. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can prepare the milk, pumpkin, spices, and sugar mixture in advance and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat the mixture gently in the microwave or on the stovetop without boiling before using.
  • Freeze the pumpkin milk mixture in ice cube trays for future use to add to iced lattes.
  • For iced lattes, chill brewed coffee overnight before assembly.
  • If you do not have a frother, use a small whisk or mason jar to mix the ingredients thoroughly.
  • Give the latte a quick stir before each sip as the ingredients can settle over time.
  • Use dark roast coffee for a bolder and richer flavor.
  • Freeze leftover pumpkin puree in 1 tablespoon portions for easy use later.
